Our Moving Process
We at Born To Move are committed to making your move go smoothly. By crafting a team of highly skilled movers we have made sure you can always entrust us with your belongings. Not only is our team of movers top quality but so is the protective measure we take. We always make sure your flooring and home is fully protected during the moving process. We also utilize moving blankets, shrink wrap furniture and handle more fragile items with extra care. A big moving day can sometimes be long and exhausting but we’re here to help you with that. In order to help you save some of your energy as well as cut down on your overall moving time we work in the most efficient way. This includes bringing our own tools to disassemble and reassemble any furniture you may have like bed frames or television mounts. All of our trucks come equipped with ramps which speeds up the time it takes to load and unload them. We have also planned out exact driving routes in order to minimize the time it takes to drive in between locations. Among the many other things we do, we also use wheeled commercial bins so we don’t waste your time by carrying individual boxes. Born To Move Rates
Many moving companies are not upfront with their prices and have hidden fees, but not us. Born To Move has affordable flat rate hourly moving fees with no secret extra charges. We never charge our customers for gas mileage, tolls, rescheduling or cancellations. If you have any items that weigh 160 pounds or more or are in need of hoisting we charge $60 to move each item. Rooms, studio apartments or one bedroom apartments will typically only need two movers. Our price for two of our expert movers and use of our commercial truck is $140 an hour. If your inventory is larger and three movers are needed to complete the job then our rate is $190 per hour. For larger homes or ones with a lot of heavy items we can provide four movers for $240 per hour. In order to book with Born To Move we do require a minimum of three hours for your overall moving time. Let our team know if you’re interested in our packing or unpacking services. Our prices for these services start at $140 per hour and are dependent on the amount of workers needed to complete it. We also offer materials needed to pack such as tape, boxes, and shrink-wrap at a very low cost.
