The Moving Process

Not only do we make sure your floors and home stay safe but your belongings too by utilizing moving blankets, shrink-wrapping furniture, and paying extra attention to more fragile items such as televisions or mirrors. Even when using a top-rated moving company like Born To Move, we know the moving day can be tiring for you. That’s why we have carefully revised our moving process to be as efficient as possible. We have studied various driving routes to determine ways to minimize time spent in traffic. To decrease the time spent loading and unloading our moving trucks, we have them all equipped with ramps. By using our wheeled commercial bins we can cut back on the time spent carrying individual boxes back and forth. We also bring our own tools so we can disassemble and reassemble any furniture you may have such as bed frames. Our goal is to make this experience stress-free so you won’t need to worry about not packing your tools or using your energy for this.
Moving Rates
Besides our level of professionalism and great customer service, our customers keep coming back due to our affordable flat-rate prices. Unlike other moving companies, we also do not have added charges or hidden fees. Our company never charges you for gas mileage, tolls, either of your locations having stairs, cancellations, or your need to reschedule. We do charge $60 to move each item that weighs 160 pounds or more and ones that require hoisting. To book your move with us we require a minimum of three hours for your overall moving time. If you’d like to book a full-service local move the price is dependent on the size of your move due to the amount of movers needed. For most rooms, studios, and one-bedroom apartments only two movers will be needed. Two movers and the use of our commercial truck will cost $140 an hour. If three movers are needed, we charge $190 an hour. Finally, if four movers are needed due to an especially large job or one that contains many heavy pieces of furniture, our rate is $240 an hour. We also offer packing and unpacking services at a low price starting at $140 an hour and increasing depending on the size of your move. Supplies for packing your move like tape, various-sized boxes, and shrink wrap are also offered through us at a cheap cost.
