When you are moving a short distance, and you’re looking for short-distance movers in the area, we just wanted to let you know that we are providing a short distance moving services as well as other moving services starting from storage, long or local, but what is the short distance moving?
Essentially, it’s the same as the local move; it’s the move with a 150-mile radius. And by moving, we mean moving within the state. All of the short-distance movers will charge an hourly rate, which will be the same as any other hourly rate.

Short-distance movers will wrap your furniture with moving blankets. When they come into your apartment, they will unfold the blankets and wrap all of your TVs, monitors, and TV stands. We will disassemble your bed because our movers always have tools.
How much do you charge?
Our hourly rate starts from $130 per hour for two professional movers and one clean truck.
If you need 3 movers for a bigger project, we can send three guys at a price starting from $190 per hour.
Materials, such as shrink, tape, and mattress covers, are not included. That will all come at an extra cost of approximately $50 per move. Also, our short-distance movers will bring a TV box for your TV to move safely.
Planing
A routine plan is what we do at Born To Move. We carefully plan short-distance moving.
We check for parking in advance and make sure the truck will need two parking spaces at both locations. That’s why we check the street view on Google Maps, and if we need a parking permit, we will go to City Hall and get it for you. All of our customers recommend our moving services. Our plan does not end at the parking spaces. We want to ensure that we send enough guys for your particular move and that the truck will be big enough to fit all of your belongings into that truck.
And if we need, we also provide a piano moving service as well as other special services. We make sure to count all the boxes that you have and recommend how you can organize your space. Short-distance moving will include furniture wrapping, assembly, disassembly, and packing and unpacking.

If something gets broken or damaged, even the floors or doors, we will compensate you for this inconvenience.
